Lamjarred mom reacts to son conviction with prayers
Saad Lamjarred’s mom made her first statement in the wake of son’s sentencing to six years in jail for rape.
Singer Saad Lamjarred’s mom Nezha Regragui shared a picture of the two of them hugging, with the caption: “May God be pleased with you my dear son.”
On Friday, Regragui shared another picture of her, her husband Bachir Abdou and their son Saad Lamjarred, with a brief prayer.
“Lord, on Friday, make us happy and relieve our hearts, relieve our worries, and replace every distress with joy, and every hardship with ease,” she beseeched God.
When Saad and his wife, Ghaitha, were present in the courtroom in France before the verdict was handed down, Regragui wrote another post, saying: “Our hearts are with you. God is pleased with you. Oh God, you are a generous pardoner who loves forgiveness, so forgive us.”
