Two reality TV stars, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, arrived in Mumbai yesterday, Thursday, in preparation for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, scheduled to begin today, July 12, and last until July 14.
Social media was awash with Kim’s lavish reception photographs, and the now-iconic ceremony will make an appearance on “The Kardashians.”
Kim arrived in Mumbai, where the Kardashian sisters received a warm welcome, to a magnificent party at the Taj Mahal Hotel and cameras encircling her vehicle at the airport.
Upon reaching Mumbai in her automobile, Kim immediately began sharing images with her fans, captioning one of them with the words “Hello India.” She recorded the kind greeting she received and the flowers delivered to her at her special event, which she also shared on video.
Boris, Reema, and John Cena Johnson have arrived in Mumbai for the wedding of the Ambani family.
Political figures and sports stars joined the ranks of the A-listers in the art and fashion industries.
Among the 1,200 invited guests to celebrate Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s marriage were Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight boxing champion, as well as Tony Blair and Boris Johnson, the former prime ministers.
Instagram users captured the arrival of former British prime minister Boris Johnson, John Cena, and Rema, the singer of “Calm Down,” at the Mumbai airport in a time-lapse video. Cena waved to reporters as he arrived, and Rema was also in attendance.
For the wedding, which begins today (Friday) and runs through Monday (inclusive), thousands of visitors from around the world have decorated the Jio World Center in downtown Mumbai months in advance.
With the groom’s father, Mukesh Ambani, valued at $122.6bn (£95bn) by Forbes, the occasion is both a romantic gesture and a symbol of the riches of India’s elite. Ambani is chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd.
The festivities started in Jamnagar, Gujarat, a few weeks ago and continued with a four-day European luxury cruise and a slew of prominent events in Mumbai.
Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihanna, and the Backstreet Boys were among the many famous Bollywood actors and actresses who performed at the pre-wedding celebrations.
