Katy Perry mocked for kissing the ground after 4 minutes in Space

Following Blue Origin’s all-female spacetrip, which involved six women including singer Katy Perry, fans have mocked their American star over what she did upon landing back.

The all-woman spaceflight (NS-31) departed Earth at 9:30 a.m. EDT (8:30 a.m. local Texas time), The Times reported, and the trip lasted for about 11 minutes where the spacecraft reached the Karman line, which is internationally recognised as the boundary of space, and returned to the site.

The all-female spacetrip included Katy Perry, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyễn, Gayle King, Kerianne Flynn and Lauren Sánchez, fiancee of the American billionaire and the founder of Blue Origin company, Jeff Bezos.

Upon return to Earth US singer Katy Perry made an unexpected move leaving her in a wave of mockery by fans and social media users. After going down from the Blue Origin spacecraft the star bowed down and kissed the ground.

A person shared the image on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote: “Katy Perry went to space for like 4 minutes wtf is she kissing the ground for.”

Another joked about how Perry went to space and instead of focusing on the Earth view from space and enjoying the trip, she spent most of the time looking at the camera inside the spacecraft.
