Kanye West sued for sexual harassment and wrongful termination by former assistant Lauren Pisciotta
The rapper and designer’s former assistant sued him for sexual harassment and unlawful termination on June 3.
Lauren Pisciotta claims that throughout her two years working for West, he engaged in improper behavior and sent her sexually graphic messages.
Pisciotta reportedly had a number of roles in the music business for fifteen years, as shown in the document that the Blast received. She was a member of West’s creative team for his 2021 album Donda and his 2015 women’s fashion line, Yeezy Season 1.
She began her employment in July 2021 with the stated purpose of “serving as [your] executive assistant or personal assistant in connection with business affairs.” The agreement stipulated a $1 million annual salary, contingent on her availability around the clock.
In the year leading up to her full-time employment with West, Pisciotta claimed to have earned $1 million from her social media postings and OnlyFans material. When West first heard people call Pisciotta “an OnlyFans superstar,” he was OK with it. However, by August of 2022, he had changed his mind. She said that he urged her to remove the OnlyFans account in a “God-like” manner. He promised to give her $1 million, and she was willing to accept.
Pisciotta said that he began sexually harassing her and never paid her. He masturbated on the phone with her and sent her sexually explicit texts, she said. She said that he sent her explicit videos of himself via text message.
Kanye West filed a lawsuit earlier this week, accusing him of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Now, West is accusing his former aide of “blackmail and extortion” in response to the complaint.
West is facing a lawsuit from Lauren Pisciotta, who claims to have been an executive for the rapper’s different companies in addition to being his personal assistant. Pisciotta is suing West for what she calls “wrongful termination” and the exposure to sexually explicit texts, photos, videos, and phone calls. She is now suing for breach of contract and reimbursement for her work hours.
One of West’s representatives recently spoke with people and said that the 46-year-old rapper is suing his former employee, accusing him of making “baseless allegations” and demanding “$50 [million] in last week’s frivolous filing.” At this point, West’s complaint against Pisciotta is not visible in court documents.
