Kagura Bachi tops Manga Plus charts!
Shonen Jump’s newest manga by Takeru Hokazono, Kagura Bachi has topped Shueisha’s Manga Plus charts with the addition of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece and Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen!
Kagura Bachi has seen a rise in popularity with only three chapters published at the time of writing this article.
On its release, manga fans took to social media platforms to hype the series up with the addition of memes adding to the popularity of it.
Kagura Bachi tops Manga Plus charts!
It’s Takeru Hokazono’s first serialized manga after writing and illustrating two one-shots named CHAIN and Roku no Meiyaku.
Kagura Bachi came in third place following Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen in second and Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece in first.
According to Dexerto, Kagura Bachi is part of Jump’s NEXTWAVE initiative which serves the purpose of giving new talent such as Takeru Hokazono an opportunity to enter the competitive manga industry.
With Jujutsu Kaisen ending soon, Kagura Bachi could be the manga to fill its shoes since people including us are already raving about it three chapters in!
Shueisha revealed new subscription options for Manga Plus
Sheuisha announced that Manga Plus users will now have the ability to subscribe to their official English manga distribution application and website, Manga Plus.
There are two subscription options:
- Standard Plan $1.99 a month – offers more than 6,000 chapters of current serialized works.
- Deluxe Plan $4.99 a month – offers more than a whopping 15,000 chapters of current serialized works with the addition of finished works.
Shueisha promised no time lag and new episodes at lightning speed calling the service Manga Plus Max.
