Justin Timberlake drops ‘Selfish’, first single from ‘Man of the Woods’
Justin Timberlake is back with a new single and video, ‘Selfish’, which he released on Friday, January 26, 2024.
The song is the first taste of his upcoming album, ‘Man of the Woods’, which is set to drop on February 2, 2024.
The video, directed by Dave Meyers, features Timberlake and his wife, actress Jessica Biel, as they enjoy a romantic getaway in a cabin in the woods. The couple cuddles, dances, and plays games, while surrounded by nature. The video also includes some scenes of Timberlake performing the song in a studio, as well as some glimpses of his son, Silas, who makes a cameo appearance.
Timberlake announced his new album, ‘Man of the Woods’, earlier this week, with a teaser video that revealed the inspiration behind the project. He said that the album is influenced by his roots, his family, and his love for the outdoors. He also described it as his most personal album to date.
‘Man of the Woods’ will be Timberlake’s fifth solo album, and his first since 2013’s ‘The 20/20 Experience’. The album will feature collaborations with producers and artists such as Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Chris Stapleton, and Alicia Keys. Timberlake will also perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 4, 2024, two days after the album’s release.
