Jennifer Lopez reportedly helped Ben Affleck “become a family man again” before her divorce.

On Thursday, a source told People that the now-exes prioritized their blended family when they married in July 2022.

“Family is very important to them, and together they were family people—and the connection doesn’t end,” the person expressed.

With ex-wife Jennifer Garner, the 52-year-old “Argo” star has three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Lopez, 55, has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Since rekindling their romance in 2021, Affleck and Lopez have taken their kids to amusement parks, outdoor movie screenings, and basketball games.

While in Los Angeles, the “Justice League” star took his son Samuel on a motorcycle trip.

The insider told People that Lopez is “super public and wants to go out,” while Affleck is “more of an introvert and is content to hang out at home.”

Lopez ended her Georgia marriage to Affleck on their second anniversary.

The “Jenny from the Block” singer reportedly filed the paperwork on the crucial date to show that she is a “woman standing up in her own way” after the divorce “humiliated” her.

His estranged wife listed their separation date as April 26, saying the “Good Will Hunting” actor had “no interest” in mending the relationship.

“He hasn’t shown willingness to work on their marriage. She now needs to look after herself, a source told People on Wednesday.
