Gaza’s Health Ministry says at least 61 people were killed by Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip in the last two days alone.
Another child, identified as Yaqin al-Asṭal from Khan Younis, has died of malnutrition amid Israel’s continued blocking of aid to Gaza Strip.

Families of captives accuse Netanyahu of ‘torpedoing’ Gaza deal

Relatives of the Israeli captives are accusing Netanyahu of having “torpedoed the deal” with Hamas and calling for protesters to take to the streets for a new round of demonstrations.

“Anyone who continues to sabotage the deal for the return of the abductees is leading Israel to complete disintegration,” the group said in a post on X.

It also called on Israeli politicians to “not be complicit in their abandonment to death and the dismantling of Israeli society”.

Protests calling on Netanyahu’s government to sign a ceasefire and captives swap deal intensified after the army last week retrieved the bodies of six captives held in Gaza.

The prime minister responded to the news of their deaths by saying that “those who kill hostages do not want an agreement” for a Gaza truce.

Israel claims to have bombed Hezbollah military sites in Lebanon’s Qabrikha

The Israeli Air Force has bombed military structures and a Hezbollah rocket launch platform in the southern Lebanese town of Qabrikha, according to the Israeli military.

The army also claimed to have shelled Aita al-Shaab and Kfarchouba with artillery.

The statement made on X did not elaborate on the results or casualties of the attacks.

Casualties reported in central Gaza attack

Earlier we reported on an attack in the western part of Nuseirat refugee camp in which at least eight people were killed.

Our colleagues on the ground are now reporting casualties following a new Israeli attack on a home north of Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.

CIA director says updated Gaza ceasefire proposal coming soon

CIA Director William Burns has said a more detailed proposal on the ceasefire would be made in the coming days.

“We will make this more detailed proposal, I hope in the next several days, and then we’ll see,” Burns, who is the chief US negotiator, said at an event in London.

He added that whether a ceasefire deal can be achieved in the coming days was a question of political will.

Burns said the US and other mediators in Gaza would continue to work tirelessly as there is “no good alternative” to a deal.

Hezbollah hits another Israeli position near border

The Lebanese group says it has shelled the Raheb position with artillery achieving a direct hit, making it one of several attacks on Israeli targets today.

Hezbollah and Israel have been trading attacks across the border since the day after Israel launched a war on Gaza on October 7.

About 70 percent of Tulkarem refugee camp’s roads opened: Ministry

The Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing has published a video on Facebook, documenting the continuing work of removing rubble and opening roads in the occupied West Bank’s Tulkarem refugee camp, following an Israeli military operation that lasted for days.

The ministry stated that up to this moment, about 70 percent of the camp’s roads have been opened and levelled, and the teams have also worked to secure a number of homes.

The ministry indicated that its teams’ work will continue in the coming days to repair the damage caused by the Israeli forces in all sectors, including roads, buildings, infrastructure, electricity and water.
