 Indian model, Poonam Pandey, found herself in a controversy after admitting to faking her death as part of a cervical cancer awareness campaign on Instagram. Pandey, who claimed to have bravely fought the disease before passing away, faced online criticism for what many deemed as a deceptive stunt.

The 32-year-old Indian model announced on her Instagram account, faking her death, which led to a lot of attention from media outlets and mournful tributes from Bollywood stars. However, skeptics began to question the authenticity of the news after noticing recent footage of Pandey looking healthy and vibrant.

While some praised Pandey for shedding light on an important issue, many weren’t happy with her for resorting to such extreme measures for attention. Critics labeled her behavior as unethical and manipulative, warning that future serious announcements from Pandey may not be taken seriously.
