In pictures: Stars on red carpet at Emmy Awards in LA

Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Colman Domingo and Nicole Kidman were among the stars walking the red carpet ahead of this year’s Emmy Awards.

The biggest night in the US TV calender took place in Los Angeles on Monday, recognising the best shows of the past year.

DTF St Louis, Widow’s Bay, The Pitt and Hacks were among the shows scoring prizes on the night, while Welsh actor Matthew Rhys made history with a double win.

Ahead of the event at LA’s Peacock Theater, stars walked a blue version of the traditional red carpet.
