The rumors in question began on Jan. 16, 2024, after Kate went missing in December resulting in local and international concern over the whereabouts of the princess amid her abdominal surgery. Despite the photos surfacing, many users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) in suspicion of whether that was Kate or not, as her face was quite swollen and didn’t look like previous photos before she went “Missing”.
