One of Turkey’s biggest actors is the talk of the Turkish drama community amid an announcement that he will be joining the Yalı Çapkını cast with the talented Afra Saraçoğlu and Mert Ramazan Demir!
According to Gozlem, Yalı Çapkını continues to top Turkish drama charts as the second season airs. The actor in question is Melih Özkaya who will play “Akın” in the OGM-produced series.

The Istanbul-born actor rose to fame after being cast in the Turkish drama “Emanet” which ran from 2020 to 2023 and received a total of 621 episodes. IMDB describes the show as:
“Kevser grew up in a humble and poor neighborhood and after she becomes the bride of the son of the wealthy Kirimli family, her father cuts all ties with her as he does not approve of this marriage.”
