Elvis Presley to comeback as AI Hologram in London
The late American singer and rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley is making a comeback at a new immersive hologram show in London thanks to artificial intelligence stated by the organizers on Thursday.
British company Layered Reality is behind the show as they used AI hologram projectors to bring Elvis back to life under the name of “Elvis Evolution”. According to Wion News, the show will first take place in London while cities including Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Berlin will follow at a later date.
The whole show is being made to honor Elvis Presley’s iconic songs, stage presence, and legacy. Layered Reality promises something the audience has never seen before as the AI will have access to personal photos and home-video archives of Elvis after striking a deal with his estate owner Authentic Brands Group.
When will the Elvis Presley hologram show open?
The concert is expected to open in November 2024 and will use music and images from Elvis Presley’s rise to fame in the 1950s and 1960s.
Authentic Brands’ President of entertainment added “We’re thrilled to partner with Layered Reality to give fans a new, immersive way of experiencing Elvis Presley’s life and legacy.”
CEO of Layered Reality described the performance as “a next-generation tribute to the musical legend that is Elvis Presley”.
He also added that “Elvis maintains superstar status globally and people around the world no longer want to sit there and passively receive entertainment –- they want to be a part of it.”
