Donald Trump mocks Taylor Swift after she gets Booed at Super Bowl

President Donald Trump overshadowed Taylor Swift by becoming the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl. After the game, he made sure to make fun of her for it.

When Swift appeared on the jumbotron during the game, the supporters booed her loudly, whereas the Superdome audience cheered Trump enthusiastically when he appeared on television during the national anthem. Swift also had to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs, lose badly to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team she grew up supporting, 40–22.

After the game, Trump made fun of her and the team in a post on Truth Social. Trump attributed the jeering to supporters of his “Make America Great Again” campaign.

Taylor Swift was the only one who had a more difficult night than the Kansas City Chiefs. As she exited the stadium, she faced jeers. MAGA is quite harsh. Trump wrote.

In another post on Truth Social during the game, Trump included recordings of Swift being jeered and him receiving applause.

Swift and Trump have been at odds during Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign over the past year.

On September 10, Swift declared her support for Kamala Harris for president. The following morning, Trump made an appearance on “Fox & Friends” and stated that he preferred Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, to Swift. Brittany Mahomes used social media to express her support for Trump.
