The National Center of Meteorology reported ongoing moderate to heavy thunderstorms across various parts of the kingdom on Sunday. Alongside the rain, active winds have been stirring up dust, resulting in hail showers in some areas.
This combination of weather elements has the potential to cause torrents in regions such as Al-Jawf, the northern borders, Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Al-Sharqiyah, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
In contrast, lighter to moderate rain is expected in some parts of Hail, Najran, Jizan, and Tabuk. Furthermore, surface winds remain active, contributing to dusty conditions that may reduce visibility, mostly in regions such as Hail, Al-Qassim, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, and the eastern parts of Mecca and Medina.
