Ayman held my hand and comforted me during my most recent visit to the King Hussein Cancer Center a few days ago, and I felt his courage and commitment in facing cancer head-on. It was a very emotional moment. Like all of your family, friends, and loved ones, I shall miss you, Ayman.

In response to the photo, the Jordanian activist, who looked to be in serious condition, said, “Thank God… a prayer from the heart.”

On Jordanian social media platforms, activists widely shared this image and quickly started spreading it.

The physical effects of Ayman Al-Ali’s illness seemed to have changed his weight and appearance, sparking the people’s deep sympathy.

A year ago, Al-Ali revealed that he had cancer. His admirers responded to his message and prayed for a speedy recovery.
