Ariana Grande Oscar buzz for Glinda role in Wicked movie

This comes following reports that Wicked scored the highest opening day for a film based on a Broadway adaptation in the history of the US box office. Additionally, experts predict that Wicked will earn a total of $117 million during its opening weekend alone.

One of Grande’s most devoted fans expressed admiration for the film critic George Carmi’s assertion that the actress “deserves the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.”

The retelling of Elphaba, which was played by Cynthia Erivo, and Glinda’s narrative had their world debut this past weekend, but numerous news articles has already predicted that Ariana will not only be nominated for an Academy Award but that she will also win the award.
