Amr Diab’s daughter criticized for drinking wine to support Palestine

The daughter of Amr Diab, Jana, has landed in hot water after she posted a photo of herself next to her friend and drinking “Palestinian wine.”

Jana Diab was blasted by activists and Arabs after she shared a photo on her Instagram account where she was seen holding a bottle of wine made in Palestine.

Amr Diab’s daughter wrote: “Love me some Palestinian wine.”

She maintained: “In times like this it’s very important to support ur local Palestinian restaurants & businesses.”

After the huge criticism the daughter of Arm Diab gained on Instagram, on which she owns over 559,000 followers, Jana deleted her post.

The post comes amid a boycott campaign that pro-Palestinian activists launched since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, during which over 14,500 were killed. Activists are now boycotting and calling others to do the same for all brands that directly or indirectly support Israel or the Israeli forces.
