Adele attacks homophobic heckler who yelled ‘Pride Sucks’

During her Las Vegas performance on Jun. 1, 2024, Adele recently became the talk of social media after she clapped back at a ‘homophobic’ audience member who yelled: “Pride Sucks”.

The 36-year-old singer immediately stopped the performance after hearing the mean comment and yelled, “Did you come to my fu**ing show and just say that Pride Sucks? Are you  fu**ing stupid?” as seen from the video circulating social media platforms including X (formerly known as Twitter).

The person was neither identified nor heard yelling the homophobic comment but users stated that if they were in their place, “they would’ve disappeared out of embarrassment”.

She added, “Don’t be fu**ing ridiculous” following a plethora of cheers from the crowd and then she followed with, “Of you have nothing nice to say, Shut up alright?”

Adele has made her stance about rude hecklers and audience members clear as she recently stood up for Taylor Swift after receiving hate from American football fans during the Super Bowl LVIII Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransisco 49ers match.

The “Hello” singer has been an advocate supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and called the community in question her “soul mates since she was really young”.
