Yemen armed forces say Houthis struck market in Taiz with ballistic missile

The Iran-backed Houthi militia struck a market in the district of al-Wazi’iyah in the governorate of Taiz with a ballistic missile, Yemen’s armed forces said on Friday.
The attack on al-Hadara market resulted in dozens of civilian casualties, they added.
An army spokesperson said the attack is a “war crime… which clearly shows the Houthi militia’s terrorist approach that directs its weapons against civilians whenever it suffers a defeat.”
The army also urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take decisive and immediate steps to designate the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, dismantle its funding sources, and cut off its supply of weapons.
