Drake gets ‘Goth’ makeover by Pinkchyu during FOMO livestream

Canadian rapper Drake went viral after featuring self-proclaimed “Goth” content creator Pinkchyu on his FOMO livestream, where he underwent a completely new “Goth” transformation.

The rapper recently sparked mixed reactions from fans on social media after barking on command for the 23-year-old content creator during the 20 vs 1 livestream dating show, after he told her he would do anything she asked. According to E! News, Drake chose Pinkchyu as the winner of the dating show and even promised to buy her mother a house as a prize.

Drake was filmed walking alongside Pinkchyu when they spotted a Hot Topic store. The camera then panned out to Drake trying out new alternative clothes and awaiting the content creator’s opinion until they settled on one outfit.

According to Billboard, Drake’s “FOMO” (Fear of Missing Out) YouTube stream is a self-funded short film that featured new music, clips from his previous ‘HABIBTI’ and ‘MAID OF HONOUR’ albums, and various guest cameos, including Sexxy Red, Stunna Sandy, Sandra Graham, Kevin Durant, Wnnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, and Lin Lamar (best known as Pinkchyu).

He also debuted unreleased music featuring Don Toliver, PartNextDoor, and Yeat. Drake revealed to fans during the livestream that a world tour is coming in 2027. He said, “Obviously, tour is coming and there’s other things on the horizon, some big shows. We’ll be out 2027 to see everybody again across the world… We’ll see you on tour soon.”

However, fans who missed the livestream can no longer view it because Drake has already made the video private on YouTube.

Goth community accuses Pinkchyu of ruining their subculture

The 23-year-old controversial content creator received backlash for “sexualising” and “fetishising” Goth culture for her revealing outfits and questionable content, in contrast to what it actually means to be part of that specific subculture.

Backlash intensified after the content creator appeared in the viral 20 vs 1 livestream dating show with Drake, further solidifying the community’s views of her as a “fetish” symbol, rather than part of the subculture.
