Houthi missile attack kills three members of commercial vessel crew in Bab al-Mandeb

Three members of a commercial vessel’s crew have been killed after it had been targeted by a ballistic missile fired by the Houthis in the Bab al-Mandeb area.

The correspondent said the victims were two Pakistanis and an Indonesian, noting that the missile was fired by the Houthis from eastern Taiz province and struck the commercial vessel while it was sailing through Bab al-Mandeb.

The attack comes amid continued Houthi threats to commercial shipping in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb, one of the world’s most important international seaways.
