 A viral Marc Cucurella video sparked debate over the World Cup trophy.

Spain was awarded this year’s World Cup winner. After a long and complicated game against Argentina, Ferran Torres scored the decisive goal to give his country its second World Cup victory in history. Many films have subsequently surfaced, causing much debate, including one showing defender Marc Cucurella allegedly exiting MetLife Stadium with the World Cup trophy in a garbage bag.

The video shows Cucurella wearing a red Spain shirt to celebrate the tournament win, as well as the blue shorts he wore throughout the match. Cucurella is wearing slides, a headband, and a bag. Cucurella appeared to be holding a World Cup trophy in a clear trash bag. A viewer wrote, “The most valuable trophy in the world is carried like grocery shopping. ” If that’s the new ‘lightweight’ award policy, I’ll bring my tote bag to the next final,” wrote a second individual.

There appears to be some explanation for the video. To mark their victory, all Spain players received tiny World Cup trophies from FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who presented them in the changing rooms.

Other viewers believe the trophy was the LEGO FIFA World Cup trophy, which is available on the website for $199.

Will Spain retain the World Cup trophy?

The Spanish players came home today. Throughout the day, players will participate in a parade in Madrid before boarding an open-top bus where Spanish residents and supporters will celebrate and welcome them back. President Pedro Sánchez and other government officials will welcome the squad.
