Cardi B joins star-studded lineup for Soundstorm 2025 in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh

Global superstar Cardi B will make her debut in Saudi Arabia this December as part of the highly anticipated Soundstorm 2025 lineup, organizers announced Thursday.

The Grammy-winning rapper joins the powerhouse roster that includes Post Malone, Kaytranada, Benson Boone, and Loyle Carner, setting the stage for a high-energy edition of the Kingdom’s largest music festival, held annually in Riyadh’s Banban district.

Known for her unapologetic style and chart-topping hits, Cardi B has redefined what it means to be an artist in today’s culture.

Her recently released second album, ‘Am I the Drama?’, marks her first studio project in seven years following her acclaimed debut Invasion of Privacy, which made history as the first solo female rap album in 15 years to win a Grammy for that category.

Her upcoming performance at Soundstorm underscores the festival’s growing international prominence and its mission to bring global stars to Saudi stages, the organizers said.

Soundstorm’s sixth edition will also feature a dynamic lineup that spans genres and continents.

The 2025 edition will also feature Lil Yachty, Miguel, Pitbull, Swedish House Mafia, Tyla, Young Thug, Ava Max, Black Coffee, and Halsey.

Organizers say more names will be revealed soon.

Since its launch in 2019, Soundstorm – produced by Saudi entertainment company MDLBEAST – has become one of the world’s leading multi-genre music festivals. It forms part of Riyadh Season, an annual program under Vision 2030 that aims to position Saudi Arabia as a global destination for tourism, entertainment, and creativity. Previous editions have drawn hundreds of thousands of attendees and featured international acts such as David Guetta, Travis Scott, Tiësto, and Metallica.

The 2025 edition, taking place from December 11 to 13, is expected to transform Riyadh into what organizers describe as “the City of Sound,” featuring immersive stages, cutting-edge visuals, and performances that bridge global talent with local creativity.
