Denise Richards & daughter Sami Sheen set boundaries on OnlyFans

Regarding her daughter’s OnlyFans account, Denise Richards has been transparent about her one rule.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her oldest daughter both joined the pornographic platform, but despite having accounts, she disclosed that they have a stringent rule: they cannot view each other’s stuff.

In a February 20 interview, her 20-year-old daughter Sami Sheen told PEOPLE, “No, that would be weird.” Denise concurred, saying, “Yes, we set a boundary there.”

Despite their strong boundaries, the mother-daughter pair manages to connect via their common experience. In fact, Denise, who has daughters Sami and Lola, both 19, with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, and Eloise, 13, with her husband Aaron Phypers, joined OnlyFans to stand for Sami after a barrage of internet hate.

She told the magazine, “As a mother and a woman in this [entertainment] industry, I was really upset when I saw that Sami was receiving so much backlash.” She was receiving criticism for embracing her sexuality and being a woman doing what she wanted to do, and it concerned me that she was being seen as a sex symbol after doing picture shoots [for my films]—and people can have their opinions about that. That is the reason I joined it.

Sami acknowledged that money was the main reason she decided to start producing explicit content on the platform at the age of 18.

“I knew that working at the candy shop I was working at wasn’t going to cut it, and I really wanted to get an apartment,” she added. “So, I created OnlyFans as a viable alternative.”

“It opened a lot of doors for me, and I’ve met really cool people doing it,” she added. Being my own boss, setting my own hours, and doing the things I’ve always wanted to do has been incredibly pleasant and fulfilling.

Sami acknowledged that she isn’t happy with how quickly the actress imitated her entrepreneurial mentality, even if they share a common experience that undoubtedly strengthens their relationship.
