Safaa Sultan Shines in Mohamed Zuhair Ragab’s Ramadan 2025 Series “Al-Ahd”

During the Ramadan drama season of 2025, the renowned Syrian filmmaker Mohammad Zuhair Rajab announced that the series “The Covenant” will begin filming.

Adnan Dioub, a creative writer, wrote this eagerly awaited piece, which Qabnoud Artistic Production Company developed to give Syrian theater a fresh twist.

The events of “The Covenant” unfold within an exciting dramatic framework, filled with suspenseful happenings, as it takes place in an actual Levantine setting. The malevolent character “Saleem” cultivates discord between the families of “Abu Ghazwan” and “Abu Jawad” by exploiting their minor disagreements and escalating them into a violent confrontation. The killing of “Abu Jawad” and the subsequent charge against “Abu Ghazwan” for his murder intensify the conflict between the two families.

As things progress, the young man “Jawad” returns to the neighborhood with a different personality and a strong desire for vengeance against the person he believes killed his father. However, he decides to change his identity and become closer to “Abu Ghazwan” in order to become the closest person to him outside of manhood and chivalry. “Jawad” becomes Abu Ghazwan’s guardian and assists him in exposing “Saleem’s” repeated plots, causing an internal struggle between his desire for vengeance and his allegiance to Abu Ghazwan.
