“Under the Seventh Earth”: Taim Hasan and Karess Bashar lead MBC’s Ramadan 2025 drama
In addition to the screening of the series “Muawiyah” and “Al-Batal,” artistic media announced that the Syrian series “Under the Seventh Earth,” directed by Samer Al Barkawi, had finished filming in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Syrian actor Taim Hasan portrays “Musa,” a criminal investigation officer who uses corrupt methods to further his own interests, amid a family dispute with his brother (played by Anas Tayara) and sister (played by Reham Qassar. This puts him in direct conflict with the people he blackmails.

Karess Bashar, a Syrian artist, portrays “Balqis,” a woman who works covertly in foreign exchange and operates a secondhand clothing business in Damascus called Bale.
Two characters in the series, Tim Hassan and Karis Bashar, forge a connection characterized by a mix of emotion and antagonism, giving the narrative more nuanced human aspects.
In addition to Taim Hasan and Karis Bashar, the series features other young actors, including Sarah Baraka, Majd Fadda, Tayseer Idris, and Mona Wassef.

The television series “Under the Seventh Earth” brings Taim Hasan and Karess Bashar back to the small screen. They previously produced highly successful works together, with the 2020 series “Al-Ameed” serving as their final collaboration.
Following their most well-known pairing in the series “Al-Hayba” across its many seasons, Taim Hasan and the Syrian artist Mona Wassef reunite in the series.
Notably, Wassef costarred with Taim Hasan in the television series “Taj” last year, appearing as a guest of honor in a few of its episodes.
