MBC Group’s Ramadan 2025 unveiled at event in Riyadh

MBC Group on Wednesday unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 programming lineup in an event that was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The lineup and sponsorship opportunities were revealed in a star-studded event hosted by MBC Media Solutions (MMS), the commercial arm of MBC Group.

For this year, MBC’s lineup features an exceptional mix of productions, spanning comedies, dramas, talk shows, and culturally rich content.

During the event, MMS disclosed data achieved by the group during Ramadan 2024, highlighting the potential of premium Ramadan content in fostering meaningful connections between brands and their audiences.

In the holy month of 2024, MBC Group’s TV channels achieved a 79.2 percent individual reach in Saudi Arabia while its streaming platform Shahid, recorded 28 million active users and 246 million plays. It was also revealed that MBC Group’s four radio stations reached 7 million listeners during Ramadan and the group’s social media engagements during the holy month surged to an impressive 137.8 million.

MMS CEO Ahmed Al Sahhaf emphasized the strategic role of Ramadan programming in creating audience connections and engagement. He stressed that MMS aims to empower brands to harness the unparalleled media momentum of Ramadan through innovative advertising solutions that are seamlessly woven into the content that MMS represents.

Al Sahhaf also noted that MMS creates integrated brand experiences that make advertisers and brands an essential part of Ramadan’s unique narratives.

During the event, MMS also spotlighted its dynamic sports advertising solutions available across the Saudi Sports Company’s (SSC) TV and digital platforms, leveraging the unique alignment of the Saudi Football League and the Ramadan season this year, to deliver unparalleled engagement opportunities.
