Google launches Squid Game ‘Red Light Green Light’ mini game
With the release of the much-anticipated second season of Netflix’s beloved K-drama Squid Game, Google has launched a cheeky ‘Red Light Green Light’ mini game, allowing fans to play if they search keywords related to the show.
When searching related topics about Squid Game, Google users are met with a brown envelope with the show’s icons printed on it. Upon pressing it, the ‘Red Light Green Light’ game commences where players have to reach the end line without being caught by the murderous doll ‘Young-hee’.

Players are given two buttons to control six characters, an ‘O’ for moving forward and an ‘X’ to stop. Despite its simple art style and approach in gameplay, it’s a fun little game to experience and manages to keep the intensity of the show’s game.
Returning and new cast in Squid Game Season 2
Unlike the show’s game where the players get brutally murdered, players in the game leave and fade away instead if they get caught. After winning the game, players are met with a golden piggy bank.
Lee Jung-Jae is returning to the show as ‘Seong Gi-hun’ who copped the 45.6 billion Korean won prize and became the first individual to ever win the competition. Other returning actors include Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo as well.
On the other hand, actors and actresses such as Yim Si-Wan, Jo Yu-Ri, Yang Dong-Jeun, Kang Ae-Sim, Lee Seo-Hwan, Kang Ha-Neul, and Park Sung-Hoon are all starring in the show’s second season as new players.
