Israel Keeps Silent About Heavy Losses Against Hezbollah
The Israeli occupation army is concealing significant and severe losses that its forces have not experienced in any previous battle. Sources and leaked reports speak of hundreds of fatalities and the loss of a large number of vehicles in confrontations with Hezbollah.
Israeli operations to assassinate Hezbollah leaders have failed to stop the advance of its fighters, just as the aid and support from the main partner in killing and extermination in Washington have failed to defeat Hezbollah, especially in ground confrontations. Notably, this assistance has provided information and weapons that contributed to the killing of civilians, journalists, UN workers, and clergy in Lebanon and Gaza.
The confrontations between Hezbollah and the occupation began on October 8, 2023, one day after the launch of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation in Gaza, according to confirmations from the late Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah. However, the confrontation has surpassed mere skirmishes and demonstrating presence, as Israel has expanded the scope of extermination since September 23 to encompass most areas of Lebanon, including the capital Beirut, through unprecedented airstrikes in terms of violence and intensity. It has also commenced a ground invasion in the south, disregarding international warnings and UN resolutions.
Despite the number of victims in Lebanon exceeding 3,000, as officially announced by the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Israel remains highly secretive and imposes a strict embargo on information related to its losses, which have recorded alarming figures.
Consistent reports and statements, along with leaks from Western and Hebrew media, indicate that the most feared weapon for the occupation army is drones, through which Hezbollah forces have succeeded in inflicting dozens or hundreds of casualties among occupation soldiers, with sources mentioning at least 200 fatalities.
It is confirmed that on October 13, dozens of Hezbollah drones launched a major attack on the bases and camps of the Golani Brigade, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries, while Israel has remained silent about these losses, which are considered the highest that the Israeli army has sustained in a single strike in recent years.
Sources reveal that a missile fired by Hezbollah hit an Israeli Apache helicopter, which crashed immediately, killing those on board. This is considered one of the largest strikes received by the Israeli army.
Information also confirms other operations conducted by the party that successfully destroyed several heavily fortified Merkava tanks, troop carriers, and a large number of Tiger armored vehicles.
Additionally, the Lebanese Islamic resistance forces succeeded, after a complex military operation, in destroying a modern air defense battery, specifically the Iron Dome, while two others were damaged in the suburbs of Haifa.
The far-right government in Tel Aviv claims that its operations aim to restore settlers in northern occupied Palestine and to push back Hezbollah forces while dismantling its infrastructure in southern Lebanese villages and towns, seeking to push them back beyond the Litani River. They have revealed intentions to create a security strip extending about 12 kilometers inside Lebanese territory and often declare their intention to continue the war without acknowledging these losses, especially since revealing them would further divide Israeli society and could lead to the downfall of the extremist government, bringing its leaders to trial and imprisonment. This has forced the government to keep such information confidential and subject it to permanent military censorship.
