Son of Syrian actor Zuhair Abdulkarim dies

The Syrian Artists Syndicate announced on its official Facebook page the death of Majd, the son of Syrian artist Zuhair Abdulkarim and his wife, artist Suzan Al-Saleh.

The union’s post read: “Our heartfelt condolences to our colleague, the great artist Zuhair Abdulkarim, and our colleague, the great artist Suzan Al-Saleh, on the death of their son Majd after a struggle with illness.

It added: “The burial will be in Germany, and the family of our colleague, the artist Zuhair, in Syria will receive condolences in the city of Ma’araba starting today and for three days after the Maghrib prayer. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”

The cause of Majd’s shocking death has not yet been revealed, and many stars rushed to offer their condolences to their colleague.

One of the first people was Syrian artist Qassem Melho, who left a comment: “May God have mercy on Majd and grant patience to his mother, father, brother Zuhair, and sister Suzan.”
