Prince William and Princess Kate Prioritize Time with King Charles Amid His Cancer Treatment
Prince William and Princess Kate have told King Charles how much they value his company throughout his cancer treatment.
Both King Charles and the Princess of Wales received cancer diagnoses earlier this year.
Royal expert Jennie Bond praised Kate and William’s decision to visit King Charles in Scotland earlier this month.
Charles and Kate will have a unique friendship in 2024 because of their shared experience with cancer treatment.
They believe it is vital to spend time with Charles, and their visit to Balmoral this month shows that,” she added of the couple’s vacation.
“It’s been a few weeks since they’ve been together, and I’m sure William in particular feels he wants to stay in close touch with his papa, particularly as the King continues his cancer treatment.”
The unique and strong friendship between Catherine and Charles is further strengthened by their shared battle with illness.
“So, it’s not so much Scotland’s enchanting allure that drew them this time, but rather her and William’s desire to spend quality time with the King.”
This news coincides with the delicate balance surrounding Prince Harry and King Charles’ scheduled meeting next week.
Following the announcement of the monarch’s cancer diagnosis in February, Harry hurried back to his native nation and met with his father for 45 minutes at Clarence House.
Despite this, Harry has visited the UK twice since then, never seeing King Charles.
Despite his May visit to the UK, the Duke of Sussex issued a statement announcing that he will miss seeing his father, the King, because of his packed schedule.
