Then, following Caramella’s lead, Hisham started listing names for him in an effort to get Nassif to sign Benassif and speak Daniella’s name. After Hisham told Nassif, “The whole Arab nation knows the name except you,” Nassif chuckled and replied, “Daniella.”

Because they were never able to completely evade the journalists’ questions, some in the crowd saw this as Nassif’s tacit admission that he and Daniella were romantically involved.

In an earlier interview with ET Arabic, Daniella Rahme addressed the rumors of her engagement to Nassif by saying, “If I get engaged, I will not hide this matter, and you will be the first people to know,” before adding, “For now, there is nothing.”
