On January 30, 2023, Mrs. Nashwa Safaa El-Din submitted a check to Nesreen Tafesh in settlement of the matter, which was 4 million Egyptian pounds.
Following Nesreen Tafesh’s payment, plaintiff Nashwa Safaa said, “I regret that I reconciled, because the amount now is not worth anything.” Her own lawyer joined Safaa.
NesreenTafesh’s three-year jail sentence came to an end when she and Nashwa Safaa reconciled during the appeal process.

The Public Prosecution assigned Nesreen Tafesh to the Sheikh Zayed District Office on January 30, 2023, for issuing a check in bad faith to Nashwa Safaa El-Din for 4 million pounds.
