Muslims around the world right now going through Eid al-Fitr, which is a joyful, fun celebration that marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. It’s a time of happiness, giving, and, of course, eating delicious foods and sweets with family and friends.
Here are few traditional foods and sweets that make Eid al-Fitr special you should know about, and hopefully try out yourself in case you haven’t yet:
Kunafa
Knafa is a luscious dessert made from thin noodle-like pastry, soaked in sweet syrup, and layered with cheese or cream. It’s then topped with crushed pistachios for an extra hint of flavor and color.
