Morgan Wallen arrested, what do we know so far!
Police arrested Country singer Morgan Wallen on Monday on felony charges in downtown Nashville, US, local media reports revealed.
The Country star, 30, is accused of throwing a chair off the 6th story of the new Chief’s bar early Monday morning.
Wallen’s arrest came in connection with an incident at Eric Church’s new honky tonk on Broadway.
In detail, Metro Nashville policemen were standing in front of Chief’s Bar on Broadway Sunday night, when suddenly they were shocked after a chair fell from above them, hitting the ground so close to where they were standing.
According to the arrest report, Morgan Wallen was behind throwing the chair from the 6th floor. In addition, a video was released along with the police report showing the Country singer “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.”
The singer was arrested for “three counts of reckless endangerment for the two officers who were in the vicinity and for the danger to the public.” Moreover, he was also charged with disorderly conduct.
Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250, according to the report released by the police in Nashville.
In response, Wallen’s attorney released a statement: “At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”
