Coachella 2024 lineup: Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler the Creator
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the most popular and influential music festivals in the world, has announced its lineup for 2024, and it is nothing short of spectacular.
The festival, which will take place over two weekends on April 12-14 and April 19-21 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, will feature some of the biggest names in music, as well as some exciting surprises and reunions.
The headliners for Coachella 2024 are Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat, who have all achieved massive success and acclaim in recent years. Lana Del Rey, who last performed at Coachella in 2014, will bring her dreamy and cinematic sound to the festival, showcasing songs from her latest album, Chemtrails over the Country Club, as well as her classics such as Video Games and Summertime Sadness. Tyler, the Creator, who has become a mainstay at the festival since debuting with his hip-hop group Odd Future in 2011, will deliver his eclectic and innovative rap music, featuring tracks from his Grammy-winning album, Igor, and his upcoming project, Call Me If You Get Lost. Doja Cat, who rose to fame with her viral hit, Say So, will dazzle the audience with her catchy and versatile pop songs, blending genres such as R&B, funk, and disco.
Other performers on the bill include Ice Spice, the breakout rap star from Argentina, who will make her Coachella debut with her fiery and charismatic flow; Blur, the legendary Britpop band, who will reunite for their first show in six years; No Doubt, the Gwen Stefani-fronted ska band, who will also reunite for their first performance in nearly a decade; and Deftones, the influential alternative metal band, who will rock the stage with their heavy and melodic sound. The lineup also features a diverse array of artists from different genres and backgrounds, such as J Balvin, Sublime, Grimes, Lil Uzi Vert, Peso Pluma, Victoria Monét, Bizarrap, Bleachers, Justice, Lil Yachty, and many more.
Coachella 2024 is expected to be one of the most anticipated and attended music festivals of the year, as it marks the return of the event after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival has already sold out all of its 125,000 day tickets, and the three-day passes will be available from Friday, January 19, at 11 a.m. PT. The performances will also be live-streamed on YouTube, as in past years.
