Jeremy Allen White strips down for Calvin Klein
The Bear star and Shameless alum Jeremy Allen White is the latest celebrity to join the Calvin Klein family.
The 32-year-old actor shows off his toned physique and tattooed body in the brand’s Spring 24 global campaign, which features him in various styles of Calvin Klein briefs.
White, who plays a chef in the Hulu comedy series Bear, says he is honored to be part of the iconic brand. “It’s a dream come true. I grew up seeing these ads and admiring the people in them. To be one of them is surreal,” he said.
The campaign, shot by renowned photographer Mert Alas, captures White on a rooftop in New York City, his hometown. White says he felt comfortable and confident during the photo shoot, thanks to the quality and fit of the underwear. “They’re very soft and supportive. They hug you in the right places. They make you feel good about yourself,” he says.
White also reveals that he is a “boxer-brief guy” and prefers the classic white color. He says he also loves the brand’s white T-shirts, which he wears in some of the campaign images. “They’re wonderful. They’re the perfect white tee. They fit well, they’re comfortable, they’re durable. You can’t go wrong with them,” he says.
White, who rose to fame as Philip Gallagher in the Showtime drama Shameless, says he is grateful for his career and his fans. He says he has no plans to get more tattoos, but he might consider getting one to honor his time on the show. “Shameless was a huge part of my life. I owe a lot to that show and the people I worked with. Maybe I’ll get something to commemorate that,” he says.
White joins a long list of stars who have posed for Calvin Klein, including Brandon Flynn, Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, and Noah Centineo. He says he is proud to be in such good company. “They’re all amazing and talented people. I’m humbled to be among them,” he says.
