Hackers leak massive Insomniac files including Wolverine gameplay!
A group of hackers have leaked news about Insomniac Games and their upcoming projects including their most anticipated game, Wolverine as the group published more than 1.3 million files online for anyone to grab.
the group in question called Rhysida published the files a week after they hacked into Insomniac Games’ servers. Rhysdia is also known for being a ransomware group.
According to Insider Gaming, the leak took place on Monday night, Dec. 18, 2023, and included Insomniac’s entire game slate until 2030, personal info about employees, a great amount of Wolverine gameplay/ footage, and more than 1TB of internal info.
An X user (previously known as Twitter) shared some footage of Wolverine including gameplay, UI elements, and pre-production elements like storyboards:

Some gameplay elements also showcased that Jean Grey who is also a character from Marvel’s X-Men is a playable character in Wolverine adding to the hype the game has been already receiving.
By the time of writing this article, social media outlets exploded with posts of the leaked info including X, Discord, Instagram, and more, similar to Rockstar’s upcoming GTA 6 when it got leaked this year by a group of hackers as well.
In addition to leaked documents, a contract between Sony and Marvel regarding the development and publishing of future X-Men titles that Insomniac might be working on. Insider Gaming stated in the article that they reached out to Sony and Marvel but neither of the parties responded.

People are hyped for Wolverine for a reason as Insomniac has done an excellent job developing Marvel’s Spider-Man and all its sequels because of its swinging mechanics, excellent fluid combat, well-written characters, and engaging storyline.
