Syrian star announces death of relatives in Libya floods
Over 11,300 were killed in Derna after floods crashed the Libyan city, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.
OCHA further announced that about 10,100 others were reported missing in the floods.
A Syrian actress announced the death of her nephew and his family in the Libya floods that caused the death of tens of thousands in September.
In a post on Instagram, Maha Al Masri posted a photo of her nephew and his five children and said that they all were killed in the floods that hit Libya’s Derna city.
She also asked God to give strength to her sister and brother-in-law who lost their son and his whole family.
Maha Al Masri wrote today: “Thanks to everyone who supported us from our colleagues and to everyone who stood with us in Libya. All of us are short, God willing, you will not see anything bad.”
Earlier Storm Daniel hit Libya, the Syrian star announced that her nephew and his family were missing in the Derna tragedy and that there were no good signs surrounding their faith.
