Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ shatters advance booking records
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film, ‘Jawan,’ is creating a buzz even before its official release, setting new records in advance bookings.
This action-packed movie has raked in an impressive ₹51.17 crore (approximately $ 6 million) in advance bookings worldwide, surpassing the opening day record previously held by ‘Pathaan’ in India.
Film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared this news on Twitter, underlining that ‘Jawan,’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, has secured ₹32.47 crore in advance bookings for its Indian opening day, with an additional ₹18.70 crore ($2.25 million) from overseas markets.
What’s truly remarkable is that ‘Jawan’ achieved this milestone even before hitting the theaters, selling a staggering 3,91,000 tickets in multiplexes alone. Vijayabalan ranked ‘Jawan’ among the top 10 films with the highest advanced collections at national multiplexes.
Industry experts are optimistic, predicting a global opening of ₹100 crore for the film, with the potential to maintain daily earnings at that level. Set to release on September 7, ‘Jawan’ boasts an ensemble cast, including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and more, promising an extraordinary cinematic experience.
