Young man kills child, sells organs in Egypt, influenced by dark web
The Egyptian Public Prosecution has disclosed disturbing details regarding a tragic crime discovered in a leased residential unit, where the body of a minor was found alongside some of his organs. Investigations unveiled a grim reality – this incident was part of a series of macabre videos intended for sale on dark web.
In a recent statement, the prosecution revealed insights from its probe into Case No. 1820 of 2024, managed by the First Shubra El-Kheima Police Department. The examination of the crime scene exposed the grim sight of a fifteen-year-old’s body, with organs extracted and placed nearby.
Subsequent investigations led to the apprehension and interrogation of the perpetrator, who confessed to the crime upon request from an Egyptian residing in Kuwait. This individual, known through social media platforms dedicated to organ trafficking, solicited the suspect to procure a child’s organs for a sum of five million pounds.
Authorities disclosed that the perpetrator, also 15, confessed to the grisly act under the influence of directives from an Egyptian national residing in Kuwait. The instructions were transmitted through social media channels known to facilitate human organ trafficking.
During a disturbing video call, the Egyptian resident allegedly commissioned the murder, offering 5 million Egyptian pounds as payment. Shockingly, this wasn’t a solitary request; the perpetrator was instructed to carry out a second murder.
Utilizing modern technology, the perpetrator was instructed to facilitate the extraction of organs via video call. Despite compliance, further demands surfaced – repeating the gruesome act with another child for additional compensation. Fortunately, authorities intervened before the second offense.
The principal suspect, aged over fifteen, confessed to orchestrating the crime to produce and distribute video footage of the child’s demise for financial gain. His admission prompts scrutiny of past activities, with ongoing investigations focusing on electronic evidence and the involvement of his father, who denies complicity.
As investigations progress, authorities remain steadfast in uncovering the full extent of this heinous act and bringing all involved parties to justice.
