Yemen official seeks Arab Coalition strikes on STC reinforcements en route to Hadramout

Military reinforcements sent by the Southern Transitional Council (STC) appeared to be heading toward Yemen’s Hadramout on Friday evening, Hadramout governor Salem al-Khanbashi said.

Al-Khanbashi added that Yemen would ask the Arab Coalition to destroy the reinforcements coming from Shabwa, Abyan, and al-Bayda.

Earlier on Friday, al-Khanbashi said government-backed Homeland Shield forces, which had launched a military operation dubbed “Taking Over the Camps” in Hadramout, have taken control of the 37th Brigade camp in al-Khashaa, the biggest base in the governorate.
