Yalı Çapkını: Will Orhan and Dicle get in a relationship?

 Yalı Çapkını series (translated to: The Kingfisher) is one of the most popular shows among Turkish and Arab viewers, and it achieves very high viewership rates, making it one of the competing series this season.

A relationship between Orhan and maid Dicle

The third episode of season two has revealed a possible relationship between Ferit’s father, Orhan, played by Turkish artist Emre Altuğ, and the young maid, Dicle, played by Turkish actress Selen Özbayrak, after scenes that brought them together confirming Dicle’s admiration for Orhan, despite the age difference between them.

In details, Orhan had decided, starting from the second episode of the second season, to rebel against his father, Halis Ağa, played by Turkish actor Çetin Tekindor, after the latter brought his daughter Nükhet and her son Kaya to live in the palace to take revenge on the family.

Orhan decides to change his looks, so he takes off the formal suit, wears youthful and casual clothes with trendy accessories, and buys a motorcycle to drive instead of a car.

After appearing in casual clothes, Dicle, the daughter the maid Sultan and played by Turkish actress İrem Altuğ, feels admiration for him despite the large age difference. In the third episode, when Orhan returns from the nightclub groggy due to drinking, Dicle rushes to help him enter the palace and changes his clothes.

The next day after Orhan leaves the palace, he meets Dicle, as she is the same age as his son Ferit, played by Turkish actor Mert Ramazan Demir, and takes her with him on his motorcycle to drop her off somewhere else.

It seems that these events are a prelude to a relationship between Orhan and Dicle.

Interestingly, during the first season, a relationship brought Ferit and the maid Sultan together, who is years older than him. And now in the second season, Ferit’s father, Orhan, is getting into a relationship with Sultan’s daughter, Dicle.

Star TV has released episode 4 trailer of the second season, episode 40 in total in seasons 1+2, which reveals many romantic scenes between Seyran “Afra Saraçoğlu” and Ferit “Mert Ramadan Demir.”
