Will today’s Turkish series episodes be postponed?

 Following the horrible fire that broke out in a ski resort hotel in Turkey’s Bolu region, Turkish channels refrained from airing the Tuesday episodes to show sympathy with the victims.

Today, the Turkish interior minister said the death toll in the fire that engulfed a ski resort hotel in Turkey has jumped to 76. Ankara declared a day of mourning in the country on Wednesday.

Turkey has detained nine people, including the owner of a hotel in connection with a fire at a ski resort in western Turkey, Ali Yerlikaya confirmed.

Turkish stars announce support for Turkish ski hotel fire victims

Many Turkish stars and artists posted on their official Instagram accounts to show support for those who were killed in the deadly fire, including Turkish actor and singer Yusuf Çim, Hande Erçel and her sister Gamze Erçel as well as actor Barış Arduç.

Ay Yapım, a Turkish Production company, posted a story on Instagram reading: “We are deeply saddened by the hotel fire that occurred in Bolu Kartalkaya. We wish God’s mercy to our citizens who lost their lives, patience to their families, and a speedy recovery to the injured. Our condolences.”

Will today’s Turkish series’ episodes be postponed?

Yesterday, Turkish channels and managers refused to air the scheduled TV series due to the fire that erupted at Kartalkaya Ski Resort. Among the series that were postponed were Bir Gece Masali, Sen Ağlama Istanbul and Bahar.

Till this moment, it is unclear whether Wednesday’s episodes of the Turkish series will be showcased or not as no statement was made regarding today’s episodes.

It is worth noting that today many fans look forward to watching a new episode of Leyla: Hayat Ask Adalet, Sandik Kokusu, Annem Ankara, Kurulus: Osman, and Sahipsizler that are usually aired every Wednesday.
