Unreleased Liam Payne Song Leaves Fans Crying
A previously unheard song in an online video moved Liam Payne’s devoted followers to tears.
Grammy Award winner Sam Pounds, who collaborated with Liam on the new song before his untimely passing earlier this month, shared the video.
It was scheduled to be published later this week and was the first song to be made available to his fans since he sadly died at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. “Do No More” was the name of the song.
But Sam Pounds has decided to remove the song completely. Pounds discussed his choice to hold off on releasing the music on social media in order to show consideration for Liam’s family, saying, “It’s not the right time.”
“Today, I’ve decided to let the whole family handle ‘Do No Wrong’ instead of me. They should donate all revenues to a charity of their choice or to anything else they enjoy. It’s not the appropriate moment yet, even if we all like the song,” Pounds wrote. He said, “I want the family to be able to grieve in peace because we are all still in mourning over Liam’s passing.”
This happened when Pounds shared a video of himself and the One Direction member sitting at a piano together while the song was playing on Instagram. Sam then turned to face the camera and said, “Chris, we need you,” inviting Chris Brown to join them in the song. “It’s here, Chris; it’s here,” Liam said. “It is prepared for use.”
However, fans expressed disapproval with Pounds’s decision to release songs in the comment area so soon after Liam’s passing. “Does the family support releasing this now?” one person commented. It seemed premature to me. Another commenter expressed a similar opinion. It was premature. “It’s very sad,” a third person wrote. His family is no longer releasing songs from him, as they are focusing on other matters.
Many fans gathered to react to Pounds’ choice to remove the unreleased song once the artist made the decision. “Thank you for listening to our concerns and deciding not to release it,” a fan said. Of course, we all want to hear it in a way that is most kind to him and his family. Another person said, “May God grant you blessings.” We really appreciate you doing this, so thank you very much. “Thank you so much for addressing it,” a third person commented. Liam’s family will release “Do No Wrong” if they ever want to. If they choose not to, we will provide them with assistance, ensuring they remain with Liam’s family for eternity.
