Trump, MBZ discuss Gaza ceasefire in phone call

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and US President Donald Trump discuss Gaza ceasefire efforts.
The two leaders also discussed ways to strengthen strategic ties between Washington and Abu Dhabi as well as follow up on the recent visit of National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed to the United States.
During the visit, the UAE committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment in the US, focusing on AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and American manufacturing.
On Gaza, WAM reported that Sheikh Mohammed “stressed the importance of ensuring the delivery of vital humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza in light of the dire humanitarian situation.”
He also reaffirmed the UAE’s support for the two-state solution as the foundation for “a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the region—one that guarantees security and stability for all its countries and peoples.”
