Trump arrives in Qatar on second leg of Gulf tour

US President Donald Trump arrived in Qatar on Wednesday, his second stop on a tour to the Gulf region.
Trump headed to the capital Doha after concluding his visit to Saudi Arabia.
Qatar, a key US ally, is expected to announce hundreds of billions of dollars in investments in the US.
As Trump flew into Doha on Wednesday, the Air Force one was escorted by Qatari fighter jets. Similarly, Saudi fighter jets escorted the presidential plane before landing in Riyadh on Tuesday.
Trump touched down in Hamad International Airport in Doha, with relations between the two governments in the spotlight after Qatar offered Trump a $400 million luxury aircraft to serve as a new Air Force One.
The US president was welcomed by Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani upon his arrival.
