Taylor Swift denies involvement in Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni legal battle over It Ends With Us

Taylor Swift ’s name surfaces in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit, sparking media frenzy online.

Taylor Swift ‘s represents that she is being used to provide “tabloid clickbait” in a court dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

The singer, 35, was called to a US court after it was claimed that she pushed Baldoni to accept Lively’s rewritten script for the movie It Ends With Us, in which they both featured and which is at the heart of a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Swift, Ryan Reynolds, and Lively’s husband were present as her “dragons” when Baldoni was invited to her New York home in 2023 to discuss screenplay improvements, according to Baldoni.

Swift’s representatives stated that she “never saw an edit or made any notes on the film” and that she was not engaged in any casting or creative decisions.

In December 2024, Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, alleging slander campaign and sexual harassment. On grounds of civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy, Baldoni is bringing a countersuit against Lively and her spouse, actor Ryan Reynolds.

Since the premiere of the movie, which is based on a Colleen Hoover book, last summer, Lively and Baldoni have been at odds.

There were conflicts over the scene’s 2023 rewrite, and Baldoni said he was shocked to see Reynolds and Swift there.

He claims Lively wrote in a text to him: “If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. Better, usually, for better or worse. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for.”

Swift was one of 20 musicians in the movie, however her managers claimed that her sole contribution to the movie was allowing the use of her song, My Tears Ricochet.
