Taiwan hit by 5.4-magnitude earthquake: EMSC
A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck Taiwan, on Monday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.
The quake was at a depth of 25 km (15.53 miles), EMSC said.
Two earthquakes, the largest a 6.1 magnitude, struck Taiwan’s eastern county of Hualien in April.
Taiwan has been hit by more than 1,000 aftershocks since a 7.2 magnitude quake struck Hualien earlier this month, killing 17 people.
